alohags had a set of q45 retrofit years ago....his car parked next to another GS with stock HIDs at HIN Honolulu show...both turned ON their HIDs when the lights went out.....aloha's q45 HID output was not the greatest....stock HID output was clearly better.

Q45 retrofit is balla...looks sexy good...but functionally...its ok...just my observation.

I agree. This is the reason I went with the LS430 retro instead. The Q45 retro does look good though.

I wouldn't say clearly better. Q45 is slightly better than OEM to me. It's nothing compared to my old LS430 setup but it definitely lights up the road more than stock, especially on the sides.

this is y i gave up on the q45 retro i wanted. looks sexy but output itsnt that great
