Default Extended Performance Mobil 1 thoughts

got an oil change today with the 15k or 1 year service period on this Mobil 1 full syn.

car runs extremely smooth and is a lot more quiet. noticeable difference. quiet on the rear end; not engine. I recommend.

got some torque masters on order as well. Star series.

and im finally going to get these 20" Spirits Vientrays put on. this will be the 5th set of shoes for this ride. and by far the nicest. x-)

Mobil 1 Fully Syn is all that I've use...It's a bit pricey but it's worth it...

What did you switch from?

I have used Regular Mobil 1 Fully Synthetic for the life of my car so far, I'm thinking about changing to the extended 15K..

Thanks for the write up.

Pep Boys black Friday deal comeing up, I think they are going for $3.95 qt. 12 limit. Buying a few dozen myself.

To OP: I have to agreed it does feel a bit smoother but do you really trust it to hang up to 15k miles? I used mine for 6.5k at most after I did my oil change it look like any used oil. Black and lost of lube.

What about filter? I think Fram make a 10k filter but why risk it. Went back to regular Fully Syn Mobil 1 and invested that money on a better filter

I use it, change at 7K however. Guess I just like new oil, purchase mine at Costco, seems like they always have good prices.

I'd love to know how those torquemasters work for you. If it weren't for GS owners, I would have never heard about them.

Does it matter what the mileage is on the vehicle. I think BMW intervals are 15k for oil changes also.. It doesn't pose a thread to our cars does it.. 15k does seem long...

I switched from Mobil1 fully syn high mileage. This is what ive always used in the past. on the recent oil change however i decided to try out this EP. i am deff not letting it go 15k on one oil change .. i dont care how much the oil is rated.. theres no way that after 7k miles of it breaking down that its going to offer just as good protection for another 7k.

I just had to share the info.. the 2jz seems to really like that Mobil1. cant wait for the TM tho. im so over due on the sparkplugs will probably be a major difference. im hoping for 50hp.

I just put the 2 rear wheels on .... on man. i dont think ive ever seen my car really stand out like it does now.

WHEELS. the most important mod on the vehicle.
