New Exhaust (tips) Installed w/Pix
I was thinking about doing what you did with the bigger tips, but I wanted to get a deeper tone from my exhaust. What can I do to get a deeper tone without upgrading to an expensive exhaust system?
I did not quote everyone, but to all that complimented...Thanks!!!!
They slide on, but would not clamp down on the factory pipe so I had them welded on. I prefer this anyway because now I know I will not lose one while driving down the road.
Not yet, I am off tomorrow for Veterans Day so I will try to get some better day shots.
I am pretty sure you will have to upgrade exhaust unless you want to poke some holes in your mufflers...joke
Weld on. Will take some better pix tomorrow.
Thanks. It is 1 of 42 Pearl Yellow VR-4's in 95 and I have had it for almost 10 years now. I have finally decided to sale it in 2010 because I want an NSX-T so bad I cannot stand it
I will post some pics of her when I get home tonight.

Well adding larger tips will not help. If you wanted a cost efficient way of getting a deeper, louder tone from the exhaust, you can always go to an exhaust shop and have them weld on some aftermarket mufflers. This should be cheaper than buying a brand new aftermarket catback-- unless you find a really good deal on a new or used one. Of course the gains of just adding mufflers only wouldn't be as great as a full catback system but if all you're looking for is a deeper, louder tone, new aftermarket mufflers should do the trick.
