I was looking at posts with questions like tint and some car mods, and i had some ?? myself so i remembered that a while back i looked at the California Vehicle Code for reference.

this is the law of the land when it comes to cars (in california at least).
i hope this helps some people out there. it mostly talks about the registration and paperwork issues with cars but the interesting stuff is found around Division 12 (equipment) and appendix B (violations).
i dont even know why i wanted to post this today but o well its helpful i guess. also, it is kinda unclear sometimes (legal language.. bleh) so if anyone has some clear interpretations on some issues here please post and help the community! this way.. we can tell those guys pulling us over that this and that is in fact legal blah blah blah.. have a nice day everybody.
