Okay for the climate control its the exact same thing. get 8 or 9 t4 bulbs of the color of your choice and open it up same way you described. and take out the old bulb, twist and lock. and put the new one in. simple as cake.. now for the radio its different you have to solder and unsolder the bulbs. i personally didn't use a resistor and it works fine.for the radio what I did was i unsoldered the stock bulb and in its place i put a t3 led and i took the prongs out and soldered them. the first time it didn't light. so i unsoldered it again and soldered opposite way. no hot spots because its a forward facing led. and no problems(yet..lol.)Only thing i have left to do is the rest of the radio. but i couldn't figure out how to get the board out. it seemed stuck and i didn't want to break it.

(if it blows the radio i don't car because i have a spare one.) for the radio what I did was i unsoldered the stock bulb and in its place i put a t3 led and i took the prongs out and soldered them. the first time it didn't light. so i unsoldered it again and soldered opposite way. and boom turned out and looks real good. no hot spots because its a forward facing led. and no problems(yet..lol.)Only thing i have left to do is the rest of the radio. but i couldn't figure out how to get the board out. it seemed stuck and i didn't want to break it.

well dont order THESE bulbs from v-led. as u know, most my bulbs came from there but i got these in last night and tore my nav unit open and BAM the v-led bulbs are WAY to fat to get into this housing. so now i gotta order some other ones. im gonna check yours out but anyone else know where besides warren on ebay where to get some bright white t4 leds?

EDIT.....I JUST DISCOVERED WHY. I REALIZED I ORDERED THEM AS T4'S AND NOT THE T3'S LIKE I NEEDED. DUMMY ME....LOL. gonna send them back to v-led and get the t3's and try again
