I notice DGR and CleanS14 are both in CA. Is there anyway to make a setup like clean14 pass smog?

yup im gonna start one once i get some more stuff. the ls1 i just got is a long block. i got it for a steal ($700 lol) its missing a few things but i work at a chevy dealer parts department so i get a great discount.

im thinking about picking up this harness:

http://techrods.com/Products/Engine%...20Throttle.htm

seems like a great deal and its really versitile.

also i just found a t56 for a great deal as well ($1200 with a z06 clutch and flyweel) so i should be getting started soon. its my daily driver so if i dont get everything aquired during the holidays the swap will have to wait til spring time since im still in school

1. Did you replace the Lexus drive by wire setup for the LS1 set up or did you use a cable? The LS motor is a drive by wire, with its own pedal or throttle position sensor correct?

2. With the eng/tran mounts, does the T-56 shifter come right up through the existing shifter hole with no persuasion? Supra Master cyl with Camaro
slave cyl?

3. How much was the drive shaft?

4. Any unforeseen issues like oil filter access, exhaust manifold clearance, hood to intake manifold clearance?

5. steering shaft in the way ?

thanks again

We used standard block hugger headers with modified collectors/flanges.

Feel free to call the shop for pricing

- wiring info

painless, modified factory harness, what info are you looking for?

- clutch pedal ? And brakcet ?

Jays is a supra pedal, but an after market wilwood or tilton would probably be the way to go. Custom in either case

1) LS1 Cable throttle body
2a) See page 2
2b) 3/4 wilwood master/ Internal slave
3) Call for pricing
4) Nothing unforseen, we assumed nothing. You will have to have some custom work done, or do a good amount of research.
5) Of course. Aren't they always?
