Everytime I use a cassette ipod adapter in my car (99 GS300) the tape adapter flips changing sides then ejects. Are there any solutions? Could the cassette heads be dirty? Anyone with this same problem?

I remember that happening to me, I found that the solution was buying a CD player ok now that I got that out of the way If I remember correctly, that happened a lot and found that the wire from the tape was stopping the tape from going in 100% of the way and the tape player didnt like that. Try fidgeting with that and see if I'm correct.

Make sure the ipod is playing when you insert the adapter. Normally the reason is the that the player thinks the tape has reached the end, hence why it switches sides then ejects.
