The battery on my 1st Gen GS3 is drained if the car sits for 10-12 days or so. I believe the battery is fine. Question is: Is this normal? If so, what's the best way to stop it?
Not normal. Two suspects- a case of a battery about to die, or electrical leak. In all likelihood, I would check the battery angle first. This is a classic sign when batteries are not able to hold a charge as long as it should - it means it is ready to die.
Can you switch battery with someone just to test? If not, check the specific gravity of the battery solution. This is a good indicator of the wellness of your battery. You can buy the tester from auto parts store.
take it to pep boys and ask them to check your battery. also check if your trunk light is turning off when you close the trunk. if not just take out the bulb
