Just curious, but have you checked in with Levoc shift *****? I know absolutely nothing about the 93-97 GSes, but they'll fit the 92-96 SCs. And they work with O/D buttons.

Here is a link, I have the chrome/wood one. $95
http://www.custommaxima.com/LevocShiftKnob.html

This link has a wider price range, but don't know which fit a GS300.

I found another site, but the same thing was $212, that is crazy to spend on just a shift ****.

I hope this helps!

Anyone made by Levoc designed for Toyota will fit the SC400. Keep in mind these shifters are 100% plastic. Not a very high quality feel to it at all. IMO, stock is better unless they can make a shorter version than sotck that is also heavy and well built.

by cheap do you mean hallow? Because i want to replace the one in my 2k sc and get one for my friend in her 95.

I like the gated shifter thats in the car but im sick of the design. Is the shifter heavy or is it really light?

The Levoc shifter is light, hollow, and about 90% plastic. Everything that looks chrome, metallic, wood grain, or carbon fiber is painted so. I should know, I have one that I'm not using. It's been sitting in my closet for half a year now. They won't fit on 97+ model SCs. IMO, the 97+ gated shifters and sticks are MUCH MUCH MUCH better than the pre-97 or any aftermarket shifter available for them. I would pay so much money to have my SC converted to that shifter.

Keep in mind the Levoc shift sticks were designed for Toyota/Nissan cars and the Lexus shifter rods are slightly different. The column is a little wider and the Levoc shifter's shaft is too narrow towards the end. You need to jerry-rig it to work properly (with the SC at least). Maybe not so with the pre-98 GSes.

anyone look at the Razo AT GunGrip? I think it's tight! But dunno if it'll fit 1st gen GS's luxury interior.
