Just because you can doesn't always mean you should. I don't know off the top of my head ot be honest, but does Aston Martin, Ferrari, BMW, Mercedes have chrome door handles? Or it is more GM, Ford, Chrysler? Dunno, just food for thought.

In my opinion, you're calling attention to your door handles. Your door handles. Door handles.

im iffy about this as well.

i purchased the toyota crown chrome door handles but am waiting til after winter to install.

the thing with all the newer cars that have them is that ONLY the handle is chrome. the GS whole door handle assembly is changed when u swap in the chrome door handles.

will have to take a look, but im gonna see if i can take apart the chrome door handles, and just install the handle, and leave the rest of the housing assembly body color. =/

you just have to do a little spot welding...but it can be done. I did it years ago.

i think it sets off the car once you have everything else, i like it but just the handle only not the whole assembly.

I am not a fan of chrome,in general.

With that said, I am a fan of doing final touches to finish off the owner's vision for the car. In that sense, I would not do this now and spend that $ on other things first. I don't know what you have planned other than the springs. I think a kit, lip, skirts, or some kind of lower body enhancements would come before handles. More aggressive wheels? Change out spoiler? Suspension work? Exhaust? Tips? I can go on, ...

I know you are asking for opinions, ultimately, your car, your $, your choice.

Good luck.

BTW - I know some of the MBs have a chrome trim on the handle.
