check the airbox for that thing. I know for fact the 430 deff has that. Never seen the 400 but i can't imagine it would not have it.

 

I just went out to have a look. 400 does not have the part you are describing. the only thing with screws, or that is even removable, is the m.a.s.. Yes the mas is in the correct direction. spotless throttle body.

 

Do you think it is possible for injectors to work just well enough for the stock unit, but not well enough for the k&n unit. the local Lexus specialist told me that they have removed a few K&N units from Toyota V-8's, but that does not seem consistent with results found around here.

 

its these dam cars....sold an SRT that we couldnt get to work on a local members car, he sold it to another member and it worked????? This was the reason I gave up on this for my GS.
