Hey CL!
I have searched and found no info for the AEM throwing a CEL on an IS250. I have pulled several fuses several times to make the CEL go away, it comes back. I disconnected my battery today for 2 hours to reset the ECU and everything else. Within a half hour or less of driving the CEL has returned! Every time he CEL turns on so does the VSC and the TRAC OFF light. Any help here is greatly appreciated!
Why are you pulling fuses? They're not going to get rid of your CEL. Did you run the code? If so, what's the code? Maybe take it to a Lexus to get it diagnosed, seems like it's a lot more than just a CEL after installing an intake (which by the way shouldn't happen anyways unless you mess up the MAF sensor).
Don't take it the wrong way but everyone comes on here and ask for help on cel. But they never bother to run a code check. You gotta understand just cause you say it's a cel doesn't mean we can guess out of the hundredths of issues what it is. It might not even be related to the intake but you won't know till you get it scanned.
make sure you pluged in the MAF sensor in all the way. I recetly installed my old 250 intake on my 350 and on start up I had the same issue. I went back to the MAF disconected it made sure all the pins were straight disconected the ecu for 10 min pluged it back in and problem solved.
I had the codes ran and it was running rich. However, AEM has there little ETI box on the heat shield and I had that plugged in. If anyone has the AEM intake they know what I am talking about. I disconnected said box and CEL is gone.
