As a newcomer to the forums, may I have some clarification as to what constitutes 1st 2nd and 3rd generation GS models? I have a 2004 GS300.
I also have a question regarding the fresh air / recirc air mode that always defaults to recirc when in fresh air mode. This seems to occur when the temperature inside outside is such that the A/C (if selected) would ordinarily come on. When I deselect the A/C on mild days but the car has been parked outside, the system always switches to recirc. Any way to stop this? Thanks.

2nd gen - 98-05
3rd gen - 06-present
