Default white smoke

Hey guys,
I have a serious problem so im turning to the experts.

Foolishly I jumped on the freeway and floored it.. then once i reached the top and way on the freeway i noticed alot of white smoke coming out all the way home. Alot that it caused the car behind to almost stop because he couldnt see. lol.

So the next day i turn the car on and everything sounds fine and normal, nothing unusual but still throwing smoke. Not alot because i wasnt giving it gas. i keept it running for about 20 min and smoke was still coming out the exhaust.

any ideas what caused this and what my problem might be?
Ive had the car for about a year and never had this happe before. Doesnt feel wierd or anything but smoking. Its a 2000 gs400 .

When was the last time you changed the oil? Did you recently install a new exhaust system?

Blown head gasket for sure, not an inexpensive repair. Toyota dealer will be less expensive than Lexus. Good Luck

definitely headgasket. If it were an oil issue it'd be blue, if it was an issue with the cats it'd be black. Get ready to shell out lotssssssss of cash.

Thanks, kinda figured it might be that. Any ideas on about how much it cost to get it repaired or replaced?

Ummmmm a headgasket job .... bend over

You might as well do a valve job, timing belt, water pump as well because it is the same work.

Use a multi-layer headgasket and ARP head studs while you're at it.

Headgasket job is around $1700 to $3500, depending on shops/dealership...

if you do it yourself it will only cost you a new set of arp headstuds and a new headgasket, which is only $300 bux max.

Might as well send the cylinder heads to a machine shop and have a valve job done too...Main thing also, is to find out what caused the bad headgasket, usually the culprit is the radiator, so you might need a new one too...
