Default Steering wheel "L"

Is there any way I can change the "L" on the steering wheel without changing the whole air bag? All the chrome of it peeled off. Not a big deal just wondering

i've been wanting to get the L emblem in chrome also cause i have a 98-00 GS steering wheel.
The best i could find was one for the LS400s, i measured it and it might be a bit too big but with enough double sided tape it should look ok. price is abit crazy thought for an emblem.

They're on e-bay... Don't forget, though, that little fart's flying at you at 200mph if the airbag deploys.

I was also looking into getting a black pearl steering wheel "L", instead of the chrome. They sell them on e-bay for about $100 I think. A bit pricey, but would complete the black pearl exterior emblem theme I got going on. That is funny about having that thing fly at your face in an accident, but I guess it would happen anyway with the stock emblem.

actually the airbag pops out through a slit in the plastic, which is a weak area in the steering wheel cover. the entire cover does not come off.

Yea I knew the whole thing didn't come off, but I kind of thought the weak spot where the bag comes through might be located in the center of the cover where the "L" is. Luckly for us they factored that in when designing the airbag.
