Angry Tried e/t n speedometer still not working!!!

I tried reseting the car by unhooking the neg. terminal..nothing, check fuses..all good, check wires on cluster w/ohm meter..good.. anybody has any suggestion as to y my speedometer just quit on me..do u fellow cl memebers think i mite need a new cluster? If so how much will this hurt my pocket books?

2000 gs300 w/100 k on it...all other gauges are working just fine, thats y im kinda confused. Havent heard bout this prob from gs3 members on here n was wondering if its just my cluster going out?

will this cause the speedometer to just quit working? where is the sensor located? i will try n check it out...has this happen to u gs4 fiend?

i would check the vss wire (speed sensor)
location:

Pin 5 Connector E4 in Black Box Driver's Side of ENG

its blue/yellow i believe.

k i will take a look at it..could this also have s/t to do with the abs/vsc sensor as well? isnt this where the sensor is located? i was looking at wiring diagrams & sensors & it seems as though thats where its located. oh by the way my abs/vsc sensor is broken due to my lower ball joint breaking on me, maybe this could b part of the prob as well..thanx spl freek, i will take a look...

I'm pretty sure its the VSS, does your rev. gauge still work?
