if your car was all locked to begin with, you can't use the trunk release. When i left my keys in my trunk, i didnt remove the rear seats, i popped the lid where the speaker is in the back and stuck my hand down and grabbed my key. BUT, trying to get into my car was a *****
On the GS 430, you can't go through the back seat to get access to the trunk.
I had a 400 and now have a 430 and i dont see what the difference would be. I"ve torn both cars apart to put systems in and I don't see how you couldnt reach the trunk with the back seat removed.
hahaha good to hear you got the keys out. this happened to me a couple times and i had to drive 30 min home to get my spare key. now i bring it with me wherever i go

on ALL gs's you can get through the back seat to access the trunk....
here is my gs 430 torn down right now....all you need to do is remove the rear bars....i did it to dynamat UNDER them
