Default Eletrical Ghost........

My car is starting to go haywire.

What happens is I can't control the windows from the driver side. If i press Right window down, nothing happens, but when I press the window lock down and up, the passenger window goes down an inch. To ge tit to go back up i do the same, press the window up, press the window lock up and down, then it goes up

When I open my door, the puddle lights/footwell/dome are on for a second, then they go off, when i press the window lock on then off again, the lights come back on.

Also while all this was going on a few minutes ago, it's taking a while to shift away from park. For example, before I could turn the key, press teh brake, and immediately shift. Now I turn the key, press the brake, the dash lgihts go from night to day mode and back, then it takes a few seconds, I hear a click then I can shift.

Grounding issue?

i reset the ECU but that didnt help.

Any input would be aprecciated. It seems as though the dash takes a few seconds to start up too.

You are going to need some wiring diagram for this. Some one upload it up for the guy.

It's ok i think. I traced teh electical problem to the driver side master window switch panel. Or whatever it is called.

When I dissconnect that unit, and turn the ignition on, everything is A O K. I think theres a malfunction, though i completely tore it part and saw nothing wrong. Could be a moisture problem since I do see lime erosion? similar to the stuff on batteries, on the ouside of the ciruitry... But anyhow its narrowed down to there.

I think what is happeneing is because of the malfunction, when the system is booting it runs into that problem, doesnt compute, freezes for a second then ignores it. No big deal for now, ill try to pick up another one soon.

BTW....looking at the tiny LED's on the circuit board. I dont think it would be hard to do a full car led conversion. It would just take ALOT of time and PATIENCE soldering on those tiny things. BUt i might have to try it soon, and be the first to have an all blue oem interior??
