Default Lexus GS400 Advice

Hello all! I am new to this forum and am finding a lot of useful information on Lexus ownership. I actually do not currently own a Lexus, but I am in search of a Lexus GS400, preferably between 1998 and 2000. The GS4's that I am finding within my price range on average are over 100k miles. I am looking for any advice as to what I should be looking out for in terms of maintenance. Is there maybe a list of items available that I should look for/ask about from sellers of GS4s of what has been changed/updated/not changed/etc so I may make the most informed decision when purchasing one? Some common things that I am finding is changing the water pump, timing belt, and serpentine belt. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Good thing you're looking for a 98-00 400, cause that's all the years they made 'em (from 01-05 they're 430s). Water pump and belts are good to have new on ANY car over 100K, but for the 400 specifically, also ask if the starter's been replaced, and any ball joint work.

I'm forgetting something, though... Dammit.
