Default Suspension Estimate

Hey, guys I just received 2 estimates from an independent shop, 1 on Daizen Control Arm Bushings and the other on replacing the complete control arms. Does this look about right?

Thanks.

I'd walk away from both quotes. Clearly these shops have never done a 2GS bushing install before, otherwise they wouldn't be looking at the 12hr book time.

I didn't know they charge alignment by the hour either. Even the best guy over here doesn't charge that much.

1700!? no way. I'm looking to spend a case of beer and a box of pizza for my Daizen bushings.

Daizen bushings are $100-125 for the front end kit. Installation price will vary widely because some will charge by the book (~12hr) and some will do it on what they think is fair. Not to mention the labor rate varies a lot depending on your location.

Sewell Lexus (www.lexuspartsonline.com) Use the code "Clublexus" to get 12% off.

Are you in Norcal or Socal?

Spend $300 dollars on food and fun. Call it "fix my car" party.

if you just look at the alignment cost, why does the alignment cost 3.8hrs=$308, even if it uses "lasers", pew pew pew?
