Hey, I've recently had my windows tinted and they removed my door panels to do the job. Since then my doors won't lock or unlock by pressing the button on the drivers side door or my remote control. By the way I have an after marker alarm system its by audiovox "prestige aps998". I can remote start the car and the alarm does go off if the system is armed and I press on the brake pedal or try starting the car up. Any help is greatly appriciated.

And yes I took the car back they removed the panel and made sure everything was connected properly. These scum bags are saying that it was probably broken to begin with and its a common problem on 2gen GSs. Thanks guys.

Thanks for your reply, what happened was I had the drivers side mirror disabled and they reconnected it upon reassembly thus disabling all power to the drivers door, I could only control the drivers mirror and nothing else. I dont know why its shutting off all power if the mirror is connected if anyone knows please post.

And looks like I need new actuator on the passenger door, I can unlock but lock only manually. WEAK

 

The actuator is a problem with the gs.
