Default Air Bag Sensor

Ok, I made sure I searched, which was a big FAIL. Does anyone on here know where the air bag sensor is? I ordered one from the dealership and got it today, and now I need to install it. Where is it located? I just need to change the old deployed one for this one

Well for my Driver Side Steering Wheel Airbag. I got the airbag, and I have the sensor. I'm trying to figure out where is the Sensor. Because I know the dealership would rape me just to install 2 simple things. Its for a 99 Lexus Gs300. My brother's own

The fact that you have no idea where to start looking for this sensor worries me. Have you ever worked on Airbag systems before? There are some real dangers involved and specific precautions that need to be taken before, during, and after you work on them. If you wish to bypass the Lexus dealer I suggest you find a good independent shop to do the work for you.

I post up a lot of information but when that information has to potential to let someone hurt themselves I am a little hesitant. Let me stress that I am NOT questioning your inntelligence or trying to offend you, just watching out for your safety and my conscious.

If it is a little tiny box with a metal bracket that has 2 holes in it, it mounts between the ECU box and where the high beam bulb goes. It should have a yellow connector on it. That is just where it is located not instructions on how to do anything. Whats the PN of the sensor you bought. That would help also.
