Now that I have swopped out my headlights for the SD headlight (for now). I'm gonna send my original HID housings out to be retrofitted. I have the LS430 shrouds and projectors sitting here but I'm shopping around for the high beam section.

After doing a search i still have a question about the high beam section.
What High beam projector are people using for the GS (X5, TSX, etc). I do know the depth of the projector is important, too long and I'll run into problems , Or have people just put a halogen projector in there and ran a piaa 9005 in the joint. i don't really use my high beams in NYC, but still want to finish the look. The bi-xenon thing look interesting also What ya think? I'm almost there.....

o nice .. i like the cut off on the Ls460 better , even the ls430 has an amazing cut off on the sides

 

thanks man....I few brothers here from club Lexus buried my dreams of the q45 retrofit and urged me to go with the LS430 LOL. I'm over the q45 thing now LOL. I had to go to detox for them joint man....

i hate to break it to you BUT....if you dont buy the ls460 highs, i will. but since u posted this and its your thing, i wont buy it out from under you...BUT if your not gonna buy them let me know and i will! do u not need a shroud with those?

i was gonna do a HID kit to them and match them with the oem q45's but no more...now im doing ls430 (lows) and ls460 (highs)


also ne1 know real difference in light output with ls430 and ls460 low beams?

 

Its all good homie .....buy it. The Ls460 come a dime a dozen. I'm just doing my research. The shroud won't fit in the highbeam section.

If you anyone wants both Ls430 shroud and projectors let me know. I may have an extra set soon. PM me.

Thanks, but it cool. I've made a lot of good friends in the retro part scene.

I don't want to break any rules here, PM me and we will talk. The Ls430 shrouds are for the low beam.

For the highbeams I'm not totally sure but the retrofitter can create or find something but that Ls430 shroud is huge and will not fit in that little section.

I wish others who have done this upgrade themselves would chime in and give some valuable info.

ls460 = 400ish maybe less , dont wastye your money for a highbeam, and to whoever said ls460 is better than 430 think again buddy there almost identical they just have different shrouds and a slightly diff inner housing ....go to hid planet amd research ....http://stores.ebay.com/Retrofit-Sour...QQftidZ2QQtZkm valeo s 60 bucks cant beat that for highbeam
