I bought the car about two months ago and had time today to find out where it was wired. I found the end.. but the it has been snipped off. The part that connects to the Sat receiver.
1. Can I splice it to a the new antenna end that I will get with the kit? It looks like it has a copper shielding.. may be tricky..

Its outside on the rear trunk lid. I can find that, and want to use it. The cable to the arm rest is ran flawlessly and out of sight. Thats why I want to keep it, just splice in the new antenna end to the receiver.
Looking for the best way to do this. I have limited electrical experience.
