Yea, I was just looking at those, pretty damn cheap too! (and ugly! LoL)

I was also looking at air zenith's new line the OB-2. they have half inch lines coming out of them, however I cant find ANY specs for them. Anyone know how good they are? and if they are worth the extra cash?

or how about any info on the Viar 495c's?

were can I get the custom fabbed one? I've heard of them, but apparently they arent used by many...

(dont see what VIP has to do with this topic?)
sounds to me like you have a problem i can go up down 2 times then my air supply will be gone but with 2 480's you shouldnt have that much run time on compressors before shutoff what pressure are you running in your bags and what is your cutoff pressure on your tank ??

If you are running 200psi per bag, then something is wrong. There's a lot of guys who run one 5gal tank and have decent amount of play time, atleast 2 ups before anything happens. Something sounds weird. Have you checked with your installer?

whats the rate of your pressure switch on your tank?if its low id go with a higher one.i had 2 viair 480's and a 5 gal tank and when its empty it didnt take 10 minutes to fill up.maybe 5-6 mins.

I would hope he isn't running 200psi....that's just ridiculous...i would think normal pressures for an American made system is 50-120 per bag

I think he has a 165-200 pressure switch. I know a lot of other people are running the lower pressure switch on here. Also he's running 1/2" valves, lines and on switches.

Do most of you guys here run a digital air management? Does it just fill up your bag to the desired psi?

I'm on switches so once I hit the switch it fills up the bag and I have to deflate to my ride height. That may be a reason why some can run longer without their compressors coming on. Also maybe cuz most will run a 1/4" line. Just some thoughts.

wouldnt line size only affect rise and fall speed? it still uses the same amount of air to fill each bag

^^^That's what I would think to. It does use the same amount of air to fill up the bag but wouldn't a 1/2" line hold more air in the line than a 1/4"?

Also, I don't know how a digital air management works in comparison to just switches.

They bags only go up to 70psi. Tank has the 165-200 switch. I did the install (theres nothing to it?) If I hit the "all up" switch, it will max at about 56 all the way around, and compressors go off. I deflate raise again and goes to maybe 50... I guess everyone has a different idea of the length of "play time". I want to get more than 1 or 2 lock ups before I begin to run out and I dont want to burn up my compressors either!

as for the 10 minuets of fill, I was talking about with 2 tanks. I dont want to have the compressors running for ten minuets to fill 2 tanks.

and once again, this wasnt a question of compressors and tanks. it was a question about charging...

Yea after the fact I fount the belt driven ones. You know anything about them? I kind of see a contradiction. They have a 145-165 switch, but have a 200psi blow off valve? so does it fill the tank to 200 or 165? or is the 165 what kicks it on? Also, I know they're better, but how much better? I see they do 9.1 cfms, but what are dual 480's rated at?

I've read about the oasis, but not sure if I want to spend $1200 on them, however how does the HP3000 compare to the belt driven one?

If I'm to change the 4 compressors to something else, I want the most for my money. I like the idea of the belt driven one to take the draw off the electrical.

Ok NOW its about EVERYTHING! LoL, compressors electrical etc.... I WANT FASTER FILL UP, and THATS what the thread is really about...

how do you know where your bags fill up to? My gauges at FULL lock up will go to maybe 75 or 80 each. Are you saying each bag goes to 150 each?

Yes, they are full at 150 psi.

I could have sword I read other members on UAS rolling at about 110ish psi.
