Default ? just interested in ur opinion on two cars ?

i seen a black on black gs300 2003 with about 88000 miles on it the guys asked $14500... and a 2001 gs430 silver on black with 67000 miles on it the guy was asking $16000 ... my question is with todays value of these cars are these prices resonable .. i curently have an 05 LS430 so im familiar with they prices more.

if you plan on selling the LS dont waste your time loL but if you getting a 2nd car get the GS430 and offer the seller like 15k.

does it have navi??? the price on the 01 is still a bit high even with navi... you should be able to knock them down alot... i just bought an 01 430 on Saturday... it has 67500 miles on it, single owner with all the maintenance records from the dealer for $13.5k out the door.. black on ivory non-navi though...

what is your budget??? if you want a few other options, i still have all my listings printed for when i was shopping... you can find many '00-'01 GS4 around the 12-13 range...

i also saw an 03 GS4 with 61k miles for $15k, and an '00 GS4 with ~77k miles with navi for $11.6k... i got both of them down a bit because the 03 needed slight touch-up on the driver side fender lip... and the '00 is up in MA and i wasn't willing to make the drive... both are white on ivory with navi...

let me know, shoot me a pm with your email address and i can dig up some emails i got from talking with the dealers and forward them to you...

i kept the TLs in the family... i gave my 98 to my mom since her car just died... it is actually the main reason i bought the GS, to replace that car after giving her my DD... the 07 i leave at home for my dad to drive when he runs errands during the week since he is retired... i drive it on the weekends... i have to say that i have pluses and minuses to all of them...

the 98TL was definitely ahead of it's time... i put the most work into that car since i have owned it the longest... i bought it used about 9 yrs ago and i have driven it close to 100k miles without any major repairs... just fluid changes and timing belt service... definitely a solid car as it was based upon the Vigor/Legends...

the 07TL is probably the best bang for the buck car... when i went shopping for this car i also considered a IS250, but for the same price the TL had a bit more to offer (power and room)... as this car also has drive by wire control like the GS, i have to admit the TL is more responsive... prob one of my complaints on the GS is that i have to manually down shift the lever to D4 for it to respond faster... on the TL i just push the gas pedal down a bit and it will downshift for me...

i always liked the styling of the 2G GS... i eyed it when i purchased my first TL but couldn't afford one at the time... the ride is definitely much nicer than the TL... most likely due to the RWD vs FWD... when i floor the car on the GS, it is a very smooth transition of power pushing you from behind... whereas the TL are both FWD and it is more of a yanking feeling... the steering is much tighter on the TL and the power seems more readily on tap...

but it is weird... i noticed since getting the GS on saturday that my driving mood changes depending on which car i get into.. when i have been driving the GS, i basically just put it in D5 and cruise... when i am in the TL, it is always in SS mode and i drive like an @$$hole...

sorry if i highjacked your thread... ill post some pics of the TLs in my garage and "New additions to family" thread if anyone cares... lol...

I have a 300 and I think you shouldnt waste your time with looking at em unless your going GTE, just go for the 430 and knock the price down, the mileage doesnt sound bad.
