i wasnt sure if this type of thread was required...but i know how ruthless some forums can be with new people. my name is trevor and im a painter/bodyman from north dakota. ive been in the car scene for a long time and am mainly into minitrucks an hot rods, but ive always loved the 2nd gen gs300 and was finally able to get one. mine is a 2000 platinum series, black on black with 47k miles on it. mods so far include tint all around, all upper gray cloth and plastic covered in black suede..and what couldnt be covered was painted black. real wood steering wheel that was the only one i could find(ebay japan), removed pinstripes and wheel well/door trim. system made up of an alpine w505 7" touchscreen with blackbird nav, alpine 7" for headrests,jl 12w7, amp and mid/highs are still on the way..the stuff is still sitting in my room as the car is in storage for winter. also have a set of 20x7 foose speester lookalikes waiting to go on the car come summer time...still debating on whether or not i want to put it on air..or just slam it on some coils or coilovers...my past custom cars have all been on air and bodydropped (i like em LOW) so im leaning towards air.....anyway i hope to find some good info here and meet some other lexus owners...
