Why do my seat settings keep resetting?

Default Why do my seat settings keep resetting?

When I set my settings for my seats it would reset as if i never set it. It would work but soon after I turn off car it resets. Can someone help? thx

Just a dumb question... You ARE holding the "set" button down then pressing the 1 or 2 as you hold it down right? You should be able to hear a beep and if I'm not mistaken, you gotta have the key in the on position. Again, you should hear a beep right away.

Yes i did. like i said, it works good... but after the car is off for awhile it just resets like it has never been set. i press the button but there's no longer a beep.

Try this, with the car started but in park, and not holding the brake pedal down hold the SET button on the door then while having it depressed hold either 1 or 2... Viola position memorized

i know how to set it but when it is set, and i start my car, then turn it off, it resets like it had no memory of the past settings.

its probably a short. pull the panel and check..

see if the seats are miswired and not getting constant power

wrong key? Each key sets to the given memory setting ,1 or 2 if i remember correctly.

If not that is your other settings like clock resetting?
