O.K. guys....I'm having trouble figuring out what tint to put on my car. I have a royal blue Gs 300 and I want to put chrome 20's on it but can't decide to either go with a light smoke or a platinum(titanium,quantum,etc...) to bring out the rims. Decisions, decisions,decisions!!!!!

Give your input on this.....what do guys think??

i have black/black lexus gs400

so i assume i should go for black, but i *reall* really like/want to get mirror/grey one, but i'm not sure if it looks good on my black car

I think you have a harder decision than i do. My last car had 5% limo tint all around and it was black too so it looked hot, but I had polished rims and you got some hot chrome wheels so i think a lite chrome (titanium tint) would look good as well. Not too shiny though because then it doesn't look classy...you want that mercedes glass look....NICE....NICE...

I put mirrored tint on my black GS, and I took it off the next day. It really took away from the car IMHO. I ended up with black tint which compliments the car now. As far as the blue, that is a hard call to make!

I think I might just go to a local Tint shop and see if they can show me some samples against my car. I really don't want the cheesy look, I want something classy.

I would not put tint on it at all. I have a Cinnabar Pearl with 20 inch Chrome with no tint. It gives the car a classy look. I think the platinum tint looks good on Silver, but you have the Blue. My opinion--keep it clean and classy, no tint---so everyone can see you!!!

I've had the car with no tint for some time now and I do kinda like it when people stop and stare. Hopefully it's me they are looking at!!LOL!

I must admit...The GS series is a work of art....DAMN! I LOVE MY CAR!!!!!

Anyways, What kind of 20's Do you have? Got any pics? I might go with the ALTSTADT IV. I'll post another poll with pics to see what you guys think.

I would have to agree with ap0718. I wouldn't go with tint, especially with your car color. The problem is that blue color looks so good on the Lexus, that you probably can't compliment it with anything as far as tint. Black tint would throw it off, Mirror tint would take away from the car (the windows on the GS are HUGE!). Tough call! Silver, and black look better with tint.

I think just normal Black tint (limo) would look the best.
