Moisture in headlight?
I have a 98GS 400. HID headlights. One side of my car has alot of moisture getting underneath the headlight lens on both the main headlight and smaller DRL/high beams(98doesnt have DRL). The moisture has been there for about 3 months and just last night my headlight went out. I was wondering how much it cost to get a new bulb to replace it,and what kind of bulb i need? And is it a good idea to replace this light even with the moisture under the lens? Could the moisture have caused the light to go out??
Thanks 4 any replies!

if both lights went out in the high. just go to auto store get a 194 bulb for the DRL and a 9005 for the high. as for the moisture. you can take a hair drier to it for a very long time and it will clear up a bit, but the problem will probably come back. A friend of mine had the same problem and didnt worry about it. However, he decided to do a retro on it and after he baked the light and put it back together, the problem went away. which leads me to believe that the seal holding the lens to the light had a leak or what not and after he resealed it, it sealed it ridding the problem.
? I dont know. Cause mine fog up a GRIP! and i dont have the problem... Why did your bulb cost you $100?
now that I think about it... its an HID bulb right? They should be water proof, so I dont think that caused it to blow. How long had you had it in there before it blew? Maybe you touched and it poofed?
