its been a while since i posted here, especially after i sold my 3GS last year

In any case, i have this weird issue with our 99GS. Wife was recently complaining that the KEY will not open/lock the car...she has to either come really close to the car or manually open/lock the doors. Naturally, i changed the battery on the key and was puzzled when saw that the car beeped once when I unlocked than nothing happened. It just beeps and locks/unlocks whenever it feels like it when we press the key.

What gives... Door actuators? The actual KEY itself? This car is about 5 years old and is kept in a very nice shape but maybe its showing its age.

Put the key under your chin. Haha. Seriously. I look stupid doing it but it works!
