Do u know which wheel sensor is broken( cos all wheels have them)
Also, is it broken at the tip or along the wire. the cheapest i found was $180 plus ship via trademotion.
no matter where it is broken , it can be fixed with a simple 2 min soldering. if it is not along the wire and at the main sensor itself, then u have to hack your way into that thick rubber wire where the sensor is. i just did mine yesterday as i was not ready to give the canadian dealers $371 canadian.( Can u believe that).
I will post a picture once i get home so u know where to hack into.(if u are still interested)
let me know

i hacked into it like u suggested yesterday and thanks to my jigsaw and sharp knives i was able to expose the two solder terminals. tested for resistance right there at the base and it was all good. now i just have to solder the wires to it. i might be creative and just run my own wires to ensure there are no breaks in the wire line.
thanks for the info yesterday.
i will post a picture once i get home for anyone interested in this.

here u go as i promised.
first pick shows both terminals so u know where to hack when u start.
i started with a jigsaw(the rubber is a chunky one). and then "carved" the rest with a sharp knife.

second pic shows the soldered wires.

third pic shows the test.

so like i said, it is rare that the wire will actally break. 18guage is not that brittle. Plus the rubber cover is quite strong. Unless it is yanked when dropping your suspension or something , you might not find a break in the wire. The usual case is at the very end like my case where the wires get yanked off the soldering right at the sensor.
that is where my solution comes into effect. If you have a break along the wire, u can follow jeffstai's diy on the fix. also easy.
all in all it took me about 30mins to do this. I infact used my own wire to solder it and chopped the original wire halfway and then joined them together . Just easier for me.
hope this helps u. Not too hard of a task especially since u will be saving over $200-$300 to buy and install a new one.

good luck
