GS300 questions...
1) What year did they start putting HID headlights in them?
2) Do all of them come with wood interior? if so is there anything i can do to change that?
3) What do you people do for a job/career in order for you to own one of these fine cars? I'm starting college in the fall and I would like to know what direction to go in.
Thank you for all of your help, it's very much appreciated.
Hi I would really like to buy a GS300 in the future, I just had a couple of questions about it.....
2) i don't think i've ever seen a 98-02 gs without wood trim. why would you want to get rid of it? i guess you could order the black stained wood from the sportdesign.
3) don't pick your career based on what car you want to drive! do what you want to do. but to answer your question, i was a business major and am currently a business analyst. payments would be about $900/month.
Here's something to think about, say you make about 60k (high end of the average starting salary out of college for business/finance) a year which comes out to $5000 a month, after taxes would be around $3000. Rent is say $1000 which means you have about $2000 left. Subtract the payments and you have about $1100 left. College loans about $200 a month and you have $900. You have to eat, say $10 a day, $50/week about $250 a month if you're cheap. Down to $650. Utilities, cable, phone, internet access, etc...: $200. Down to $450. Credit card bill? I dunno, maybe $500/month. You are now in the red. Can't not pay your rent, car payments, etc...so now you are paying 19.9% interest on growing credit card debt.
So there you have it. I remember before I went to school thinking "Gee, I can make $5000/month! I can afford any car I want". That was before reality hit and I discovered a little thing called TAXES. Right now, i'd just focus on enjoying college life and doing well in school. Hope this long ranting message somehow helps to answer your question
hey GlobeCLK, Where did you get that?!
My main concern was the wood on the steering wheel, but i'm sure they can come without that right?
Or you can have a shop custom-paint the woods on the steering wheel silver or any color you want, or even carbon fiber.
