i've seen dealers desperate for sales being a lot more willing to work with the price these days... if you feel the car is in good shape... see if you negotiate the price down, it doesn't hurt to try.

and its a SAAB dealer... you know they're not selling anything and could use the sale.

Well I got them from $9000 to $7500. I offered him $6200 but he said not a chance. I think I could walk away with $7000 plus taxes. It is still V8 and nobody wants V8 car today plus it is a cash only car you cannot finance it so how many people can cough up almost $8000 cash today.

all i can say is

in 2003/4 i bought my 2000 gs3 with only 27k miles for 20k and it was a STEAL i bought it when book was 32k still...

and just to give a heads up if your fighting to make this guy go down from 7500 to 6200... you shouldnt buy a lexus because you cant afford it... it is still a lexus...

Seriously ... If we werent in a recession you wouldnt be even looking at that car ...

just wish more people knew that ... If you are low balling .... just know a V8 is still a beast of a car ... I love mine to death ... and glad I chose it today over the 300 ...

I can afford any car in cash money is not a problem. I just need a good price. I have JETTA diesel paid off, I bought GS300 long time ago in cash. All of my car have been paid in cash I never finance. I will take it he gives it for $7000. Keep in mind this is 11 year old car with over 100K miles so It cannot be worth much.

yeah im not trying to come off as an ******* or a jerk to be honnest but im saying its still cheaper than 10k right? i mean lets take a look at 99-01 civics right? that amount of mileage still goes for about 4-6k... so for one thousand bucks more i can get a four door lexus? thats what my reasoning is... if you cant afford another 1k for a four door lux car... it isnt worth it... go get another car.. i think thats a great buy already

What you say is true, but how many people cant come out their pocket 19k for an old *** 92 sc just because it has a swap. we are in a an economic bind but if you look in the car classified on clublexus some of these guys price the cars like money is coming off of a money tree in a backyard.

Retail for the car is 12k, clean trade 8900, and avg 7600 on Nada. 10500 retail, 8500 trade on kelly. It's not overpriced...suit yourself though..as stated earlier it's a good deal.
