Default Car got keyed, need guesstimates!

So this past weekend I went to church (night) and on my way out I see this big nasty line across the driver side door all the way to the fender. Needless to say, I was very disappointed (I was already upset with my 3 year old)lol. I suspect it was a German, because they don't like Americans (I guess the whole world blames us for everything that's happening in the world). I say this because the building is shared with Germans and some even live there. I also get nasty looks all the time just because...remember, I drive a GS and not a German car. Any how, so two days ago I checked something in my trunk and guess what? Another freaking scratch! So this all happen on the same date, I just didn't see the trunk one until two days ago. The person started from the rear left tail light and went on to key the paint under the light that's on the trunk all the way under the edge of the trunk (below the license plate) and finished it up with the passenger door and fender (left). In all, the bastard got: Rear left tail light, trunk, passenger door and fender. I tried my 3M compound and other products, but it will not go away, it's deep!!!

Does any one with body shop experience can tell me about how much this damage will cost to get it fixed?

Happy Thanksgiving to Everyone!

thats gonna be kiiiiinda expensive. It seems like there are some compound curves and being how long it is it would probably just make the most sense to respray the panels themselves. plan on a few hundred bucks at least i'd have to say.

its black, you shouldn't need to blend the panels. I way I estimate without our software is roughly $400 a panel thats affected...meaning fender is a panel, door is a panel, quarter panel, trunk...and so on.

Speedadic: So it would be around $400+400+400=1200 (door, fender, trunk)? They also got my tail light so how ever much that is I guess. If you say that black doesn't need blending in, then that's good news! Although, I don't know much about German body shops, been living here for 4 months only. hmmmm

PHML: I actually called my insurance already that's why I want to have an idea of prices. this is my second claim in less than 8 weeks. I got my GPS stolen out of my car and it wasn't even on display. not having the best of luck over here as of yet. It must be the car!

vietdeluxx: To be honest, Lexus are very rare here in Germany (of course) and every where I go I get looks. Today at the gas station, this old man went around the whole car, while I was pumping gas, stopped and stared and then looked at me and complimented the car. "Wow, Lexus, very nice, nice car" just like this guy appreciated the car, there are others that hate! dunno why? My car is stock!!!

Here's a crappy pic:

nah, that's just a pic of my stock looking car. and yes, I took up two spaces, don't like door dings and I did it because there were many empty spots. here's a pic of the actual damage. I'm getting an estimate tomorrow. I think I'll take this opportunity to take off the rear spoiler and get the holes filled and paint the whole trunk.

I don't think the scratch on the tail light is very noticeable, but I can see it. Do you'll think the insurance company would pay for a new one?
