Default 19x9.5 +22 245/35/19 tires front wheel clearence

Hello,

I would like to know if 19x9.5 245/35/19 would clear in my 2GS.

I have rarely seen people with 19x9.5 for fronts, but if it fits without fender mods, then that will be great.

It'll all depend on what your offsets are. What is the offset the the 19x9.5?

The offset is the key... I have a 20x9 w/ a 225/35 series and it fits just fine no mods no rub. I cant imagine a 9.5 would cause an issue, but that depends on the offset. You could get away with a smaller tire than a 245... I'd try a 225, bc I still have room to stretch it more.

his offset is in the title....+22 on a 9.5 rim.
I would go with a 235 or 225 tyre because it will definetly rub with the 245. it might not rub on the inside because while it is a wide wheel, the +22 offset pushes it out away from the strut etc.. you will have to do fender mods if your planning to turn lol

I totally missed that... I have a +19 and there is room, unless +19 is the limit... I'd try it

It'll fit with a 235 and you will need some fender mods. How low are you?

i am lowered on tein stech springs. maybe 1.7-1.8" drop?

i prefer not to do fender mods, so i think this thought will definitely be reconsidered.

I think you'll be fine. From the pics I've seen, a 1.7" drop isn't much of a drop.

Going with a 235 in front will help if it doesn't clear.

I havent the clue about offset.. but I've got 245/30/22's (9.5's) with a 45 offset with a 1/4" spacer. no rub? IDK... just my worthless 2 cents.

won't be able to be very low without shaving the fenders and running in excess of -3 degrees of camber.
