Question Rim and Drop question

I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the correct place but here goes....I plan on lowering my 2nd gen gs with HKS coilovers and also installing the rear camber kit.... My question is, with this set up and plans on getting 20s, what width rims and offset should I go with to avoid shaving fenders. BTW The rims I am looking at are the TSW snetterton.

well if you're going to dump the HKS's (and theyre capable of it) youre going to need at least a fender pull/shave. With 20's, you want a pretty conservative offset, id say +35 and up. That should give you a good bit of tuck ability, while still keeping you from rubbing. That being said, i'd go with 20x8 or 8.5 up front and 20x9 or 9.5 out back. With a mild stretch and the right offset you should be good. i think debonair just got those rims too didnt he?

My car on SS, fronts have about 1" left before maxed out and rears have about 2.5"-3" before being maxed out. The wheels are 20x8.5 front and 9.5 rear et35. Tires are 225/35 & 245/35
However; you can use up to a 245/35 in front with a 255/35 rear without fender mods, but you might rub on the front fender liner if you go too low. I got the smaller tires because I added spacers, pushing my offset to +15 front and +20 rear.

Cutting the fenders isn't that big of a deal.

Those who want "the look" will gladly pay the price!

I had 20x10 on the rear with a +40 offset and they just cleared the quarter panel lip with a 285/25 tire, but you can also use a 275/30.. Hope that helps
