Test your mettle (and metal) at Buttonwillow Raceway
Unlimitedlaps has organized another open track day on April 12th at Buttonwillow Raceway. These events are fully staffed with instructors, and it's a great way to "mod the driver".
If you're interested in learning the secrets of go-fast, all your investments in your driving skills go with you no matter what car you drive, whereas most of our mods can't exactly be bolted onto our next ride. Incidentally, this is also the best (and safest) place to push any mods you've done to your car to their limits and dial them in.

Here are some pics from the Thunderhill event in December. A lot of groups came out in force, including half a dozen Porsches, the WRX guys (pictured), and several M3s. It would be great to have some additional Lexus guys (and gals) out there representin!
Anyways, these events are well run, and definitely a deal when compared to other track events or even Speedring or autocrossing when you look at the time behind the wheel.
