Hi all, I've been reading about the wait for updated software for the Nav on the GS300/400s. Under the "What's New" section of Carpoint, it lists the 2002 GS as having the following change: "Available DVD navigation system features new computer for faster performance and added convenience."

I was under the impression that there were NO changes between 01 and 02 GSs and as far as I know, the updated software isn't even available yet. I wonder if the new computer listed above would make much of difference...

I'm asking because I'm deciding between a brand new 01 and 02 GS with Nav...dealer would be willing to do the software update free of charge but if there is a different computer...well, that's another story...
