dunno if anyone's done it but IMO would look hot with the right wheels. I've always been a big fan of setups like that ever since my uncle has owned a vette.

Make sure wheels + tires = same diameter on both front and rear... If not it could screw up your suspension set up over time.

Default go all 4x 19's or all 4x 20's on our 2GS, imo.

My opinion, I feel that only certain cars can pull off the smaller diameter wheel up front.

Such as; the Acura NSX and Toyota MR2 91-96.

Reason; vehicles with smaller noses up front are setup like that from the factory with smaller diameter wheels up front.

Plus, you car will look more proper if you've got the same size all around. Have you noticed that the front wheel arches on our 2GS is higher than the rear? Therefore, a smaller diam. wheel up front willl create a large gap between fender and tire. Unless, you've got coilovers and you dump the nose(look like drag racer).

Again, this my opinion. I did'nt want to offend anyone. peace!

imho, iirc, you can get a decent set of used wheels (same dia) for that and much better quality than Axis.

just gotta watch the classifieds

There you go... there are some die hard car enthusiast on this sight that are really into modding... Its very true.. do it right the first time.

The pic of the silver GS is mine.. I bought my axis wheels brand new and bought brand new tires.. total of about 2200.00.. I had never heard that they were labeled as crappy wheels untill I came upon this site. I really do not see anything wrong with the quality of them.. I like them and receive compliments on them daily.. but to see all the wheels like Work for example that make different offsets and sizes so you can get the best fit.. Now that is awesome in my opinion..! But you will also pay alot more for better quality.

But like said before.. Do what makes YOU happy... not the people on the forum. You are the one that drives the car everyday.. its your hard earned money being put into it
