I'm just wondering what you guys think. why did you choose a Gs over a Is? I love my Gs3 but if i were to do it all over again i might have gotten an Is because of the large quantity of after market parts available.
yo i love the is, its fun to mod up ! nice sporty
but its wayyy to small for me !
as far is the gs it has a nicer look round head lights and you do some nice mod's to it and you set ! and its nice and roomie !
GS FTW! The GS is more luxury and looks sexier. Before I bought my GS I was going to get the IS300. But I think it belongs more to the tuner world. Heck one time I saw a modded one and showed it to a friend she thought it was a civic. THAT helped me stray away from the IS.
Is feels like a Civic after being in a Gs. Not to mention they feel cheap inside compared to a Gs.
The cheap looking inside reminds me of a corolla/civic/etc modeled vehicle, not a Lexus. My friend's IS300 feels really tiny when riding in it especially after driving my GS430 all the time. I would most certainly go for the GS300 over the IS. You can never go wrong with the quality, reliability (ball joints ftl however) and refine feel of the GS300 vs the IS300. Yeah, the stock 2jz isn't as refined/smooth as a V8 powered GS, but to me the GS is a better car on every level.
I think you said a lot right here. I love my GS as well, but I live in SoCal and it's car crazy here. It seems like everyone has a nice NEW car everytime you look around...and if you have a non-current bodystyle on a luxury car then it kinda stands out, even if the car IS modded because there are people rolling around with brand new modded cars. So I understand the temptation/desire for a newer styled car. It just depends on each individual's situation I guess.
I've only had my GS for about a year and some change, but I already feel like I'll want something new(er) within the next 2 years
I must admit, I do enjoy casually glancing over my shoulder at her rear-end whenever we have to part ways due to a parking endeavor. Yesss...so sexy indeed...
