Default Will 285/30/20 rub?

For you exerienced wheel guys....in the rear, will 285/30/20 tires rub wrapped on 20x9.5 +40 offset wheels, dropped on DF210 springs? I see a lot of people running 275 wheels, but if I can fit 285, I'd rather go that route.

A +40 is probably going to rub, myself and many here have run 20x10 w/285/30/20 and it's very close with +47, for a 20x9.5 you should stick with 275/30/20, that's more than enough tire for your setup.

Post rub

the first set of wheels i had on the car with the rear s being 285/30/20 with 41 offset didnt rub at all. got a new set of wheels 35 offset/same tires and it rubs when i have a full tank and 3 people in the car. i was thinking of maybe going to a 265/35 or 275/35. i want to get a ticket sidewall, dont want to bend my wheels

Those are 285! Those tires look stretched on those wheels. Question though, I was thinking about getting those same Falken tires. I can't really tell from the picture, but does it have rim guard?

Just curious, which Tien? And are your fenders rolled/cut? Based on what I'm hearing so far, I think I should be able to get away with 285 on 20x9.5 +40 wheel.
