Default Brake Light Indicator On after body work

I had my trunk repainted and now my brake light indicator is on. I noticed that one of the center trunk lights were out during braking. So i swapped out the bulb then the other side went out. I then replaced the other side and the light indicator was still on. Now I go to turn on my headlights, and now the center trunk lights don't light up, but only during braking. What could the body shop have done to make my lights work like this? Any ideas of what happened?

Thanks

Just a guess.

Double check the bulb you replaced....you need a bulb with dual filaments.

You probably replaced with a single filament....which maybe the reason for the parking light NOT turned on when headlights are on.....but turns on when braking....thus, causing the lamp out sensor on the front console.

Its nothing done by the car shop. I think you just bought and installed the wrong bulb type.

When my car went into the shop the lights were fine, and when I picked it up the guy was putting the lights back on the car and thats when the lights indicator came on. The bulb I pulled out was a 7443 and I replaced it with a 7443. Is that the correct bulb?

Yes, the 7443 is the dual filament bulb. The reason I know is: I just bought some today to replace one of my tail light bulbs.

Then this is weird? I wonder why my lights don't light up? Anyone else have ideas?
