I was looking at the DIY thread on how to rewire the 98-01 tail lights and it confused me. BananaGS DIY site said that there was a wire that was not connected. Which one was he talking about? Could someone help me out here and maybe explain which wire Im supposed to be looking at? Maybe some pics as well?

Thanks alot!

Ok I have another question and dont want to make another thread to clutter up the forums so here goes. It involves the pinstriping on the side of my car. Ive searched it up and noticed that some people tried paint thinner. Now I just bought some Jasco Paint and Epoxy Remover to strip my grill and it worked perfectly. I was just wondering if I could use it to remove the pinstripe as well. Im just afraid that its too strong and will ruin my paint in the process. Any inputs?

rightlook.com, the place that i get all my detailing supplies from has a pinstripe removal tool. It attaches to a power drill and is a special kind of compound that will remove the thermostatic adhesive thats used to apply the pinstripe. its like 30 bucks.

Sorry I just didnt want to clutter up the forums with multiple threads. Just trying to keep things neat. :/

The pinstripe isnt a sticker/decal. Its actually painted on.

are you positive it was handpainted on? if so, you should definitely have it removed professionally. i wouldn't trust leaving the stripper on there...could cause serious damage to the paint.
