Default Finally found someone to cut my key blank!

Of all places the local flea market had a guy who could do laser cuts... I bought the blank about a year ago off ebay and Hennesey refused to cut it saying they wouldnt cut blanks they didnt sell because it could break their machine... Guy at the flea market cut it out in about 5 minutes and charged $35. Now I just have to go thru the 3 pages of instructions to program the dang thing.

Are you talking about the smart key remote like that of 2008 ES 350, GS350,etc. LS460? Can a used key of such type be reprogrammed?

I had trouble getting a blank key that I bought off eBay cut, the Lexus dealer and some local locksmiths said that the metal used in the blank was too hard and might damage their drill bit. I ended up getting at another Lexus dealer an hour away from me for $10.
