Default DVD in dash monitor for GS?

Anyone make a decent DVD monitor and CD/DVD player for our GS that fits well and looks OEM (or as OEM as possible)?

Would my CD changer be useless?

check out kenwood and poineer the make really some really nice cd dvd in a double din that look awsome. ive got the kenwood with nave and dvd i like it alot. as for the changer it will be kinda useless with an aftermarket headunit. i took my changer out and made a compartment for more storage. good luck!!

I was thinking about yanking the stereo and putting a monitor there with a slim cd player for radio and then putting a dvd player in the glove box where the cd changer is.

Believe me...your better off just getting a complete 2-DIN headunit...

Yeah look at some like Pioneer for instance, great choice whether you are looking for a more expensive unit with navi or a very low priced burt still quality unit without navi.

i have the pioneer avic-d3. it has dvd, cd, i-pod adapter cable, navigation, bluetooth, etc... all in one. it fits in nicely and i love it!

the reason it doesn't match is because i have other plans for the rest of my interior. that's why it is shiny black

Grip - with what your thinking you might as well go a little step farther and put in a carPC

URDONE - which trim bezel do you have, and does it match the ac unit or is it just the light making it looks a little off?

If you go with a double din you can get the Jdm Toyota double din bezel and brackets from Carson. Runs about $60 shipped and matches the stock dash perfectly since it's factory.

Do you have a link or pics for the carPC?

URDone: Very nice setup.

I think I'm going to tell the dealer $2000 plus my car or I will just go buy a steering wheel, paint the car electric Z06 blue, and get a Dvd/nav kit like you guys are suggesting.

I chose the AVH-P6000DVD with Metra double DIN radio kit. The face of the kit sits flush to all the sides of the radio. I don't have a full day picture but you can see how flush it sits to the top of the headunit.
