He guys i need your help with something.

The tape deck in my gs400 stopped working. I have an 00 navi system that. I wanted to know if i can just change the tape drive for my car because i use the tape drive for my ipod. Another option i was thinking was to change the whole stereo system but i want to know if i can do that without it interfering with my navigation and climate controls. Another option that was also thinking was if there was a system that can use to replace the whole navigation/stereo system that would also be able to use as a climate control.

Any advice would be appreciated

You can only replace the tape drive part.

 

Check in the mobile/audio forum, I think some people are selling some nav units that have an ipod interface and would allow you to still use your climate controls - its just a double din.
