Default New dude

Hello CL, obviously im new to this forum. well pretty much new to "forums" in general. glad i popped my cherry here at CL tho!

well neways to cut to the chase im in the market of looking for a 2gs and right now i got my eye on a 2001 gs430 with about 94k miles thats listed at $15k. basically my question's are, if thats a good price for how many miles it has? and if the balljoint issue is only with the 98-00 2gs or does it go for all 2gs'?

hopefully my next post will be of a new car and with pictures because i kno everybody likes pictures especially here at CL.

Welcome aboard. Seems to be a good deal just have someone check it out for you. also find out if it had 90k service done because it can be a bit pricey. and as far as balljoints go thats any gs i would recomend replacing them if that havent been replaced yet good luck on your search.

welcome to Club Lexus, Duroni!

15k, Way TOO High!

I always say that when someone asks about a price for a car. Only because I feel everyone should negotiate, negotiate and then negotiate some more. GL with the negotiations!

Welcome to the family. The lower ball joint on the 98's models and up tend to need replacing around 90k....if you use the search function above, and type in "lower ball joints", you see pics and details about the issues (what you dont want is for them to go out on you while you're driving). I had mine replaced around 90k miles, and it improved my handling significantly.
