I just bought a set of used GS400 1998-05 17" Five star silver wheels. I have noticed that they do not have a Toyota or a Lexus logo on the wheel. They do have what appears to be factory Lexus center caps. Is there a way to tell a Lexus factory OEM wheel from an after market wheel? If so, what are the they?
I dont think I remember seeing anything on my OEM wheels that says Toyota or Lexus. Most likely they are OEM wheels because not too many aftermarket companies make GS wheels.
yea, thks,I have seen the Toyota logo on the inside of a set of 16" OEM wheels. Just need to know if anyone with the 17" GS400 5 Star can check theirs. Anyone...?

Nope no Toyota or Lexus just that JW or JML whatever the heck it is.
I recently bought a set of 17X8 GS 5-spoke rims from a '99 model that I haven't installed yet, and I just took a close look. They all do say TOYOTA in raised letters cast on the inside of one of the spokes. The factory wheels also have a small circle with a month/year date code in the casting inside the wheel between two of the lugnut holes. There are aftermarket versions which are nearly identical in appearance, so I would guess that you have one of the aftermarket versions.
