Exclamation urgent!!!!

I need help, my 2000 gs300's locks stopped working. Well technically they work but my key wont unlock or lock it once i press the unclock or lock button on my key. Is there any way to sync it back to the cars computer maybe? Or is this something that needs to be taken up with my dealership? Another problem is that my right rear doors lock is "stuck" In other words it wont move if the unlock or lock button is pressed inside the car. If it is to be unlocked or locked, it must be done manually. Any hints on that?

Thank you

Make sure your battery is still good. As for the calibration, you can probably get lexus to do that with their techstream scan tool. However, it might be the remote itself. Perhaps its just broken.

For your rear door lock, your door lock actuator is broken. It's a common problem on the GS. Have it replaced. Parts are about $150-200 from Carson Toyota (forum vendor). If you have the time and guts, you can probably rebuild the actuator with $5 parts. If you're not even close to being mechanically inclined, then just get it repaired at a local shop.

Probably a dead or close to dead battery in key. Don't believe there is a "sync" operation, at least I havent had to do it.
